History of
324 S. Broadway

People often times ask what else was in 324 South Broadway…well, it depends on what decade you’re wondering about! Built in 1873, Studio324 has been a little bit of everything. A bakery, a few restaurants, a billiards hall several times, a dry cleaner, a law firm, apartments, an antique store, an art gallery, a photography studio, most notoriously a nudey theatre, and since 2007…

After dreaming of...

an old building with wood floors and brick walls since college to call home for their photography studio, Shawn + Michelle Fagan purchased the building in April of 2007 and Fagan Studios moved in. With the incredible building receiving compliments for its unique charm and style in the Rochester area, they decided to open the space for others to experience. They moved their photography studio to the second floor of the building and named the first floor Studio324, which also functions as a gallery for Michelle’s fine art floral photography.
